Damn that's amazing… @cander49 this is your kind of thing, no?
Thanks for the tag! Here are some of the cool places I've gone to on foot (hiking or running):
The Wave Hike:
Grand Mesa Crag's Crest Trail Run:
Haleakala Hike:
Angel's Landing Hike (have also run it, but it's more fun in IH!):
Glacier Point, Yosemite before running up it and on top after changing back into regular clothes the wife brought up:
-
Kilimanjaro hike (Samurai 710s were worn the whole way up and down, though I had snowpants over the top at the summit for warmth):
Mallorca beach hike:
King's Peak trail run (eating a Twix bar on the summit lmao):
Big plans coming up… I'm going back to Maui and the big island in 3 weeks for the holidays and I'm going to attempt to run the fastest known time on the sea to summit route (from the beach to top of Haleakala). 18.6 miles and just over 10,000' of gain.

We have a hiking stream now! Thanks @Wander
I guess, there are several members who can contribute!!!Let's start 'Hiking with the kids' and we'll see, what different and beatiful other hikes will follow …
Local mountain- Islas Baleares.
Local trail at home (in the middle of Germany).

Damn, that makes my lungs hurt just reading it. Good luck, dude.

Wow, some fantastic pics there.

So many fantastic pics! Giving me some wicked wanderlust. We're hoping to get ourselves a caravan (and upgrade the Impala to an SUV) within the next coupla years to facilitate family trips out west.
Here's a few snaps from a whirlwind roadtrip out to the Canadian Rockies last year. Hiked/scrambled up to the lower summit of Mount Lady MacDonald. Incredibly beautiful area.
On the lower summit of Mt Lady Mac. The true summit is in the background. Some people merrily do the ridgewalk to the true summit without any ropes/protection, but that was most assuredly not for me!
