IHSH-41 - MK III Mini Herringbone Check Westerm
-
Something tells me I will regret not going Western on this version, but diversity is the spice of life…
-
It is the work shirt, but I thought no one would notice…...................
-
I don't know whether to go for L or XL. I wear XL in IHSH-22.
-
What are the chances of holding an XL while I await a shirt in transit I know I want to exchange for this?
-
Goddamn these are nice looking.
-
jaco thanks for the pm

Boooo! Thanks Giles. I'll just cross my fingers. Just curious since I'm still new to IH, how many shirts will typically exist total for something like this?
-
In total we made about 60 IHSH-41's
And the stock is splitting between G and DC4. Get it while they are still available because once they are gone, they are gone.

My feelings on this shirt….
Material
There are 4 different colors: white, black, navy, and the light blue/purple which has caused so much discussion. The fabric is extremely hairy (almost as much as my RJB jeans) and contains lots of small imperfections where the threads protrude a bit from the weave. These, combined with the herringbone, give the shirt a great structure. No shrinking occurred from a 40deg soak.Fit
My medium fits similar to a standard IH medium in the chest, shoulders, and back length, which is perfect for me. I measured the sleeves to be almost 64cm, which is a bit longer than advertised and about 2 cm longer than most other IH flannel westerns. I prefer a short sleeve because I don't shirts touching my palms and this one just barely matches this criteria. The front length is also approximately 2cm longer than other IH flannels. I think I prefer the shorter length.Details
This shirt has MOP buttons and a cotton twill lining in the cuffs and pocket flaps. I hope both become standard on all IH shirts. More force is needed to unsnap the MOP buttons compared to old style buttons.
