iron man - they snug up in the wash for sure, but I am Active enough in them that they stretch back in 3-4 days.
Hope that helps!

I personally prefer the ST cut (slim tapered) which would maybe be closest to the 777 IH cut, then the CT cut (classic tapered) would probably be closest to the 888 IH cut.
Coincidentally, I measured my 3sixteen SL-120x's last night and i'd say that is pretty close to the new 777-142 cut. The SL series is 3sixteen's slim straight and initially I wasn't a big fan of the fit, but over the last 5 yrs i've gone back and forth with slim tapered fits and slim straight fits. My SL-120x's size 34 measure 35" waist, 12.5" thigh, 8.5" knee and 8" hem (hemmed to 31").

Yeah I've considered trying the SL (straight leg) fit. The measurements look pretty good. IIRC I believe it has a higher rise than the ST (slim tapered) fit.
EDIT: I think the 3sixteen SL fit is pretty close to Rogue Territory's Stanton fit which is also a great cut. This is strictly anecdotal and going by feel as I haven't actually compared measurements though.

I never really "got" RgT. I used to have their waxed canvas Ridgeline jacket which was a perfectly fine jacket, but I sold it awhile ago and haven't looked back. I can't quite put my finger on it but none of their stuff really appeals to me. I think 3sixteen is the only US brand that I really like that consistently puts out good stuff.

I definitely prefer 3sixteen over RgT and I agree that 3sixteen is the best US brand out there right now, but RgT does put out some nice stuff here and there. They had some great releases this Fall/Winter.

Would you consider Mr. Freedom an American brand? I ask, because I'm not sure I would.

hmmm….not really sure. Either way it's irrelevant for me because I can honestly say I don't think I've seen a single item from Mr. Freedom that I would buy.

I'm not sure either. The owner is a French ex-pat based in the US and his stuff is made by Toyo. I like some of MF's outwear pieces but it's unlikely i'd buy anything from them. Their prices are a lot higher than IH too so that doesn't help.
