This jacket is amazing.
Wear it every day since this Mad and tremendous noisy jacket arrived.
Absolutely everybody who commented, was very impressed.
Everyone else is eyeballing from top to hip and back again.

As a barometer, my father wore it with a big smile for hours and he normally didn’t recognize anything from IH on me.

What is the patina potential for this leather? Will the red get darker over time?

Based on memory, it seems to have gone from super bright red when new to slightly more of a brick red a couple of months ago. Though that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. As for what will happen, I have no idea, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

When I originally specced this leather, I wanted brick red.  What I got was pretty bright red.  It looks like it is mellowing to brick quite nicely….

No bricks quickly to hand, but let me see what I can do ;-).

In front of a green barn door, it is still looking bright….but mellowing beautifully!
