Having landed on Gosport with five of my six children and a wife in tow, we have left and are travelling to my parents house in Salisbury. The Jacket (caps intended), is coming with me.
We’ve had the pleasure of staying with Giles and Paula for two nights and have enjoyed their wonderful hospitality immensely, eating some tremendous meals, visiting IHUK, and otherwise being in the company of excellent people.
Amongst other things there was an exhibition of 80’s popular culture which had me boring the crap out of my teenage sons. I have to say the nostalgia factor was strong…
Later that afternoon I joined the IHUK crew (with WAGS) at the brewery for an after work pint…
I’m always a little sad to leave Gosport, but here are the obligatory pics from the Gosport ferry, with the fam, and The Jacket…

Pre-Xmas Sunday Funday in Sailsbury where my parents live.
I took the boys out to a local community farm where they were having a gingerbread man hunt.

There was also a bird that looked like a recently impeached leader of a major nation…
Finding gingerbread men is fun… for kids.
There was time for grown up fun later though.
Although that is a relative concept. MTFBWY!
The jacket turned so many heads there’ll be a queue at the local chiropractor tomorrow…

Ok, so that last week was a warm up. My month starts now…
While in the U.K at Center Parcs, I forced more family members to join the Mad Red Club...

No party pics for me on NYE as it is easily my least favourite holiday of the year, but I had to start the 2020 WAYWT off right:
I start back at work on Friday and I’m looking forward to wearing The Jacket to school.
