WAYWT - Family and Loved Ones Edition… (pics and anecdotes)

Yes great idea Reuben.
Thank you but the credit goes to @Aetas. Amusingly, he was inspired by what I suspect was one of those pieces @Black Orchid passed over. Hopefully he will post a pic and tell the story himself.
@jordanscollected I think that was a tremendous effort on your part, but lesson learnt!

Yes @neph93 you are correct and I agree that it would be awesome to see if "he ( @Aetas' son ) will post a pic and tell the story himself"

Clerk: "I assume you're in town for the stock show?"
Brandi: "No, this is just how we dress." -
My amazing sister. She went back to school to become an MD at age 40 with 3 children at home. She's now crushing it as an Emergency Department doctor.
Here are the kids, Otis and Bess. Bess is mostly blind (juvenile cataracts) but has the most patient big brother seeing eye dog she could hope for.
And here is some more of my family; the kind you choose.

A recurring theme around this forum is wives, husbands and partners, children or parents stealing our clothes, or alternatively, having Iron Heart pushed upon them reluctantly or otherwise. Is this wise? Are we educating and raising our loved ones to appreciate quality, or are we just projecting our expensive addictions onto them?
@Aetas pointed this out to me recently when I mentioned my oldest son would be receiving an IHT-1610L for his recent birthday, (this will bring his total of IH tees up to three after @Giles and @Madame Buttonfly kindly gifted all our big boys with a tee when we visited at xmas).
Otherwise @Brock's dad rocks some IH, @jordanscollected considerably better half has a shirt or two, and I believe @IH-GARY's lad has some gear too.
Any pics already posted elsewhere are welcome here, any stories funny related to theme are too. Have at it, boys and girls…
Guilty guilty guilty

Thanks @steelworker I agree ; and sorry, Forum, I think I missed the point of the thread by not having any family clad in IH. Brandi does borrow it from time to time

Honour and respect today to @Black Orchid @sabergirl @RoxRocks86 @Madame Buttonfly @Kathrynnaomi, all the other forum women, and to the wives, partners, girlfriends, daughters, sisters and mothers of all of us XY and XX chromosome bearers. Happy International Women’s Day.

I was just about to post this in the non-ih thread but it goes so much better here.
Morning walk with Marlene. Not trying to sound pathetic but she makes me want to be a better person.
-
I think a lot of us dads can relate! She’s gorgeous by the way.

Here is the short story of buying the IHSW-23 from denimhead to and @Black Orchid .
My eleven year old son asked me to buy a hoodie for him.
At this time Barcley offered two beautiful vintage zipped ones on his sale thread.
When I showed them to him, he dislikes the Zip and pointed out, that he is saving for a new bike.
A sport he likes a lot.Told him, that the seller was a former BMX-rider and a retired jet navigator.
We watched some videos from the Mad Red Tour together and he was hooked.
At this time, Jules offered here IHSW-23 and it was love at first sight for my son. (Black and no zipper, a no brainer for him).At this point it comes to the topic of this thread:

Normally 80% of my sons wardrobe is second hand from family and friends.
We were talking a lot what he and his peer group likes and what he is willing to spend from his own money.
In the end, we decided to split the costs and the hoodie goes back to me when he’s outgrown.Never thought the following could happen:
Smile
We can talk about fabrics, the place of production and how to wash…
After showing him some sketches from Haraki, he is drawing his own line at the moment.
Thanks @neph93 for bringing this thread alive!
