IH-526J-22OD - 22oz Selvedge Denim Type III Jacket - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
Not much wear as it’s been quite warm. Tried wearing as much possible when temps are cool. Arm honeycombs setting in nicely, finalized on pins placement!

starting to look good. like the King Crimson pins

I sent this and my IH-101J to @JoshC at IHUK for repairs to the elbows. Very happy with how they turned out!

Any restock in the works for this jacket?
-
@Daniel-0 22 is harsh at first and will get soft with wear, not as soft as a 21oz jacket but softer then the 19oz lefty in my experience. I once had a 22 and sold it cause i totally dig my 19oz lefty! But that 22 jacket was cool on it’s own!

22 gets very soft, while remaining heavy of course. It drapes very nicely once broken in, which doesn't take too long. Seems to be one of those OD denims that fade to grey rather than revealing indigo - I've never got around to asking on here why some do the former while others (18oz vintage denim of the 293 CPO for example) do the latter.

@bob_z you used the money well drom those wesco’s you’ve sold njoy man!

Well once the deciscion was made in my head I found it quite an accomplishment for me to postpone the purchase overnight considering that it was the last piece, but I had sent a question asked to IH regarding measurement of this specific piece and as the answer rolled in my e-mail box the last bit of restraint to buy this jacket suddenly disappeared and the point of nu return was long gone lol. I really lived by what is put underneath each of my messages lol....

Any news on a restock? Hoping to pick up one of these at some point
-
@JunkPants Not likely I'm afraid. The fabric is extinct

@AdamJ Thank you for the reply Adam. If not what I was hoping to hear!
Loved the combination of heavy denim, overdyeing and short/classic body length. -
@JunkPants We are making a 526J, so non modified in our 21oz selvedge denim. Not outside the realms of possibility that it gets the OD treatment one day
