Luggage Bags and Packs

The Master-Piece stuff is very well made and there are lots of different options. Also, you can quite regularly pick various bits up on special, so worth keeping an eye out!

I love Master Piece and it seems fairly priced. I’ve not handled in person.
To update on my Rofmia Day Pack, the love affair only gets sweeter by the day. The Root Co AirPods case and attachment @Cutlasshound showed us and @Giles arranged for me to procure is so cool and convenient. Here you can also see the horsehide getting a nice patina:
I love the water bottle holders and how my Zojirushi fits. The 3 zip off the shoulder side access to that and both the main and exterior compartments is extremely thoughtful. In the exterior compartment there is also an internal pocket oriented for off the shoulder access.
I grabbed this little guy from IH and it works well for my internal organizer. The Day Pack has the perfect balance of minimalism and practicality but I find this item helps me have a modular organizational capability.
A shell, a battery and cable pouch, notebook, charger, and laptop round up my work bag load out. In EDC nerd heaven.

Might be my next bag MCL, what a great piece.

Very pleased to hear that the consensus on Master-Piece is positive, just hoping the wife likes it. I guess worse case, I’ll keep it and she can have my old bag lol.
@Cutlasshound the one I bought was massively reduced on SSENSE. With shipping was just north of £100, which seemed like a steal. Will see if I get hit with import charges.

@Anesthetist thanks. You can have them customize it if you like as well. For example they can add a luggage handle pass through or a fourth zipper.
I think a Hero hook or similar is a good accessory to have handy since it doesn’t have a flat bottom to sit on.

Update on the Bradley Mountain Wilder.
I love this bag!! I’ve been hiking with it all summer on day trips. Taken it to the Italian Alps and numerous fishing trips here in Colorado and Wyoming. I’ve began collecting patches from the places I’ve taken it and sewn them to the bag. It’s a gorgeous and rugged bag and I’ve been having a ton of fun putting it to work. Finally got it all sorted for use with my fly rod too!!

Is anyone owning a Filson dryden backpack? I'm considering getting one. How is your experience with it?

I recently started using the Ortlieb Duffle RS 110 L. Bought partly due to recommendations from this thread. Overall great bag, but was unpleasantly surprised that the bag is so long and wide that both Copenhagen and Athens airport require it to be checked in as odd sized luggage. This sucks a bit, in particular since it is not consistent (odd sized from Athens, but delivery with the normal luggage). Let's see if this is a general issue...
-
Other than it getting lost for 7 days due to some fuckery I won’t get into, we had no issues flying to Croatia by way of Frankfurt and back with our 110L and none as a domestic checked bag in the states.

I have that issue with my 140's but not yet with the 110's....

@the246guy I have an old Filson bag-30+ years- but their quality has gone down since some hedge fund snatched them up
-
@steelworker I get that. Learnt that the dryden is not made in the US, but still I could not find something similiar. Hope the dryden lasts longer like my 257 case.

Anyone with experience of Topologie? I noticed a collaboration with Distance Running Store of Paris/Lyon and it seems interesting.

Rofmia bag incoming!

I have a Barnes and Moore roller buckle belt - superb quality for a reasonable price imo
