@steelydan Nice! I listened to Where the Light Is straight through for the first time on Saturday. "Come When I Call" by the Trio has been stuck in my head since. I don't love everything by Mayer but his good stuff is very good.

My latest

@68degreesorless , i agree on what u said about mayer , not all his works is good , but i certainly like this album .
@mclaincausey , my fav by dans is always can't buy a trill ,follow closely by aja -
@GraemeE I bought that album about a decade ago simply because I thought the cover, and moustache, was great. What an album! Non-stop Italodisco prototechno bangers.

Made by Tanner Goods? That's pretty cool.
-
Haha Tanner had their hands in a lotta pies there for a minute. I have a leather slipmat they made somewhere.
-
@Jek @popvulture I think it was the sort of thing where the first 20-30 had a leather sleeve and the rest had a standard one
Can't imagine it would be very cost effective to make them for an entire run
That being said the music world does do plenty of things that a normal person might find excessive
Case in point is this box set I was reading about this week.....

Looool that is absurd. I mean I liked some ATDI just fine, but assigning an artist that much weight seems like a real stretch. At the end of the day though, I suppose fans gonna fan.
-
@popvulture I'm trying to think if an artist/ band exists that warrants that extensive of a box set
I don't even think Neil Young or Bob Dylan has 57 records worth of material i would find necessary to own
-
That's crazy that he has that much material without even including at the drive-in or the mars volts... Wild.
