@Oaktavia Will do, I'm sick this week, and normally a little camera shy but I'll get you a fit pic. It's funny I was thinking the same thing, as soon as I'd soaked the shirt for the first time, and wore it wet, I got so many creases going up the arms. I searched other fades online to see if this is a common thing and didn't really see it. I think it's a combination of me having short arms and liking tighter fitting shirts. I also had my sleeves shortened by my tailor and have been wearing buttoned up at the cuffs, which I think pushes it up like half an inch. Or at least it used to, after the wash there's a lot less tension, I think because it shrank a tiny amount.

@WhiskeySandwich Really interesting that you've been getting similar results as an undershirt, make perfect sense actually. I've definitely not been wearing it as an undershirt way too warm in LA for that. I could maybe get one under it, but it's pretty fitted with a t-shirt depending on my eating habits.

@Mr-Linz could just be some large cannons under there fitting snug in the shoulders and bicep area
Mines pretty loose in the upper arm so I don’t get much permanent creasing up there.
-
@Mr-Linz it's awesome man, looks like your rocking it. What are your measurements BTW? I'm 6 ft 180 lbs and took a large in my UHF in the end. I'd consider having this as more of a jacket if I did go for it... Will wait it out. Promised myself I'd resist another purchase. But this looks sick.
-
@Mr-Linz it looks good as fuck my dude
-
@WhiskeySandwich Makes sense. I have medium sized canons (no Arnie),but I'm pretty stocky so my shoulders and chest are snug in there.
-
@Supersonic I'm 5' 9". Probably around 180 myself, although I fluctuate. You're more likely a large I would imagine.
-
@Mr-Linz Thanks man, blessing and a curse finally snatching some of this stuff. Keep rocking it anyway mate. It's looking class.
-
@Oaktavia okay so I had a moment and as I’m always wearing this thing I took a couple of pics. As you can see I rock it fitted.
-
@Mr-Linz yup that slimness makes for some sick creasing. Sharp as fuck, dudeman!
-
@WhiskeySandwich thanks mate! I don’t usually wear it all buttoned up. But felt like it explained the mad creasing a little more.
-
@Oaktavia different drinks for different needs
-
@Graham how’s yours looking mate? If it’s still in the rotation it should be looking pretty evolved right now…
-
Hi, I unfortunately fucked up, bought this new and washed without pre-soaking, is there anything that can be done?
-
@init616 Over the years I’ve had stuff like that happen, and at the time I was pretty upset with myself, and pretty upset at how the garment looked, but eventually I/you get over it and after wearing it and washing it,it will eventually blend in. I had a pair of jeans that I pre soaked and still got some weird pattern, like you have. At this point I know where it is but you would be hard pressed to find the spot. I feel your pain.
-
@ARNC I totally agree with what you’re saying, but at the time it’s this brand new very expensive piece of clothing, and this is not how you had hoped the fading process would begin. Leading to a lowering of ones self worth(I fucked up)as if you were the one who caused this to happen. Over the course of a garment’s lifetime there will be plenty of opportunities for stuff like this to happen,it’s kind of inevitable, and as you said you just roll with it and keep wearing it. Prime example is Louis Bosco’s Pale Rider. It was pretty new and he was wearing it while riding his motorcycle and somehow oil got sprayed on it. He was pretty upset at the time, but today it’s probably the coolest version of that shirt out there .Enough rambling.
