I picked up a Stevenson Overall Vintage Jersey Fabric Anorak from Rivet and Hide when I was over in the UK. It's a lovely piece and there's still a size small in the Sayonara section.
Here it is being worn in Orkney, along with my friend Odin the Eagle Owl.

N1 Deck Jacket

Mercerised Cotton, Slim TaperedWe’ve also restocked Iron Heart’s slim fitting selvedge chinos in Black, Khaki, and Navy. These trousers are cut from a cold mercerised cotton, giving them a work pant like durability with some real smart-casual versatility. They have a crisp, clean sheen and plenty of abrasion resistance. The 721 fit - based around the brand’s 777 jean fit - provides a mid-rise, a slim fit, and a gentle taper.
Iron Heart’s cold mercerised cotton is in short supply so these chinos don’t come around often. If you’ve been thinking of grabbing a pair the time is now.

MA-1 “Bailout” Flyer’s Jacket
Orange & Green, ReversibleMister Freedom’s fully reversible “Bailout” flips the classic Flight Jacket formula on its head with an “Indian” Orange A-side and a Sage Green B-side. A 2x2-grade nylon twill is used on both sides, with a wool/cotton blend interlining providing insulation. The double-sided zipper is an exact replica of the ‘50s MA-1 original - deemed too costly to make at the time, but that hasn’t stopped Mister Freedom. In terms of fit, the Bailout is classically stout - sitting at the true waist for that authentic boxiness.
Awa-Ai Sugar Cane Fiber Denim
Straight fitThis is a very special denim release from longtime collaborators, Mister Freedom and Sugarcane Co. “Awa-ai” refers to dyeing practises using natural indigo dyes derived from plants native to Japan’s Tokushima Prefecture. This natural “Japan Blue” makes up 50% of the denim’s warp - creating a one-off shade of indigo. It’s a uniquely deep and saturated hue that complements the cotton/sugarcane fabric’s abundant character perfectly. Here in Mister Freedom’s ‘50s-inspired Lot.64 fit - a mid-rise with a classic straight leg.
Dude Rancher Cotton Sateen Shirts
Sandstone & BlackMister Freedom’s Dude Ranchers have all the trappings of your traditional Western shirt with a little of the LA brand’s signature flair. These new AW23 editions are cut from a midweight cotton sateen. The fabric shows subtle signs of directionality that will intensify as it washes down. The Western-style front and rear yokes are echoed in the neat curvature of the shirt’s chest pockets and painted snap buttons. Diamond-shaped elbow reinforcements round things out masterfully. Indigofera FW23 Shirting
Webster Shirts & A Copeland Over ShirtWe have two shirt styles across three new fabrics in from Sweden’s Indigofera. First up is the Webster - a lovely workwear/ivy league in-between with a relaxed fit and a straight hem. It’s a generous style that works on most frames and it’s here in two fabric choices. Take your pick between sturdy cotton twill and densely textured, dobby cotton corduroy.
Next is the Copeland over shirt in a Japanese-woven cotton kersey. This is a heavy-duty fabric with a discernibly ridged texture. The shirt is accented with embroidered chest pockets, chunky brass snap buttons, and chambray-lined cuffs and collar. The Copeland is a long-standing favourite at the shop on account of its tough construction and roomy but ever-so-slightly tailored fit.

Waxed Cotton Canvas, GoldA blend of Halley Stevensons waxed canvas and Brisbane Moss corduroy make the “Le Falot” Jacket from Fleurs de Bagne a robust and stylish piece of outerwear. Iron Heart A2 Deck Jacket
Olive Military Serge, Wool LiningHistorically, the A2 Deck Jacket was the ‘60s successor to the N1. It runs a little trimmer than its older, chunkier brother, but it’s no less shored-up against the cold. The outer is made from an 11oz serge cotton - a denim-like twill with a sturdy hand and similar fading properties. The interior is lined - sleeves and all - with a deep pile wool. A double-action YKK zipper with a button-down storm flap and hidden storm cuffs offer further protection from the wind. Rounded out with slash handwarmer pockets, a single, flap-and-snap chest button, and adjustable side cinches.

Iron Heart Slubby Heavy Herringbone Check Flannels
Grey, Western & Work Shirt StylesIron Heart’s new Slub Yarn Heavy Flannels offer up more surface texture than their Aspero-woven Ultra Heavy Flannel counterparts. They’re made using a 12oz slub yarn in a herringbone weave - producing a flannel with a uniquely irregular and intentionally uneven face. They’re more rugged by design but still have the same double-brushed softness and warmth on the inside. Here in Western and Work Shirt styles. This is an extremely hard fabric to come by, so expect limited numbers of these.
Iron Heart Ultra Heavy Flannels
Green Ombré & Red Ombré CheckWe have Iron Heart’s Green Ombré UHF in Western and Work Shirt styles, alongside the Red Ombré UHF Western. All Ombré Checks show some lovely gradations from light to dark, and their brighter tones are known to mellow out beautifully as they wear in.
They’re woven from 100% Peruvian Aspero cotton – a rare, organic yarn renowned for its softness and insulation. The yarn is worked into a heavyweight, 12oz flannel fabric before being brushed once on the face and twice on the reverse. This gives the fabric sweater-like levels of comfort, warmth, and wind protection.

The Real McCoy's N1 Deck Jacket
KhakiThe Real McCoy’s N1 is just about the most accurate reproduction of the WWII Deck Jacket that we’ve seen. Honouring everything from the slash pockets to the Talon-style zippers that graced many of the historic originals, it’s a meticulous rendition that could only be achieved with The Real McCoy’s ambition and archival know-how.
It’s also one extremely robust winter jacket. The body, sleeves, and collar are lined with long-pile alpaca and the front is fixed with a button-down, windproof placket. Storm cuffs and a pullstring waist effectively seal off the body’s core for added warmth. The whole thing is wrapped in a gross grain jungle cloth outer - a tough, dense twill that provides supple armour against the elements. Here in Khaki. Navy due early January.

Pure Blue Japan Teacore Black Selvedge Jeans
14oz, Slim Tapered & Relaxed TaperedThis is one very special denim from Pure Blue Japan. The weave is made up of a black, sulphur-dyed weft and a brown-core warp which has been overdyed black. If you look closely, you can see flecks of the brown core peeking through the denim's surface. With a little time and wear, the black overdye will give way to earthier tones of tobacco brown. It’s a process more commonly seen on leather jackets, but Pure Blue Japan have replicated it beautifully here.
Available in 013 Slim Tapered and 019 Relaxed Tapered fits. These are also one-washed to soften things up and to remove any shrinkage.

Samurai Indigo Rope Dyed Flannel Shirts
Blue & GreenSamurai’s FW23 flannels are woven from cotton yarns so thick and slubby that they're typically reserved for jeans. When worked into flannel, they possess the look and feel of a hand woven fabric. The deepest blues in these check patterns are indigo dyed. You can expect some beautiful ageing on these flannels as the indigo fades and the other colours mute and mellow over time. Here in Indigo/Blue and Indigo/Green.

Black, Relaxed TaperedThe Koku Benkei jean from Samurai is cut from the brand’s heavyweight, 17oz “Bushido” denim. It’s a substantial and textured selvedge fabric with a prominent hairiness owing to its mix of American and South American cotton. Even at 17oz, this is an impressively comfortable pair of jeans. Here in Samurai’s relaxed tapered fit with its mid-to-high rise, roomy top block, and gentle taper from the knee down.

Pure Blue Japan Slub Yarn Sweatshirts
Sumi Ink & IndigoPure Blue Japan bring their impressive fabric dyeing expertise to bear on this Sumi ink-dyed slubby crew neck sweater. Sumi ink is traditionally used in Japanese calligraphy. It comes in the form of fermented blocks of pinewood and perfume. The blocks are often aged for years before they’re put to water to create the ink baths in which the fabric will sit for dyeing. When put to Pure Blue Japan’s slub yarn fabric, the dye creates muted hues of smokey, stoney greyish green.
We’ve also restocked the Indigo dyed version of this sweater. Same great fit and classic style, just in a deeper, more saturated indigo colourway.

The Real McCoy's Type B3 Flight Jacket
Horsehide & Australian SheepskinA real beast of a winter coat, the Real McCoy's Type B3 Flight Jacket is a burly combination of veg-tanned horsehide, thick Australian sheepskin, and cowhide. The varying textures and differing lustres between all three skins make for a beautiful jacket that will only grow more distinguished with age.
The design stays painstakingly true to the B3’s WWII origins - where it kept fighter pilots warm at altitudes of up to 25,000 feet. Finished with The Real McCoy’s fastidious eye for period-accurate detailing - think brass DOT button closures, an in-house replica Talon zipper, and a horsehide-cut map pocket and throat/hem latches.
N1 Deck Jacket
NavyWe now have The Real McCoy’s N1 Deck Jacket in Navy following December’s Khaki delivery. Historically speaking, the Navy N1 predates the Khaki. It’s a much rarer model with a few subtle design differences. Most notably, the alpaca lining extends down the entire sleeve, past the hidden storm cuffs. This feature was originally cut to save material during the war effort, but The Real McCoy’s have chosen to honour it anew.
8HU Twisted-Yarn Flannel
Red/Black Buffalo CheckWe also have The Real McCoy’s Twisted-Yarn Flannel in a mid-weight and textured buffalo check. The shirt gets its name from the coloured threads that are twisted together to make the yarn. This gives the flannel some unmatched levels of tonal variance. The reds and blacks aren’t block colours at all, but a range of subtly different hues and shades. These shirts come one-washed to eliminate shrinkage and really to kickstart that softer, more vintage feel.
