Catch of the day [Fishing]

@Mizmazzle hi mate, I’m based in the UK. Fish in NW England and Scotland a lot and the big char was from Iceland which is only 2.5hrs plane journey away, sadly due to the airline misplacing our bags I didn’t have my weigh net but I’d guess somewhere in the 5-6lbs range for that fish. I had an awesome looking male last year that had me well into backing 3-4 times.
The goldens you get are a bucket list fish for me though, absolutely wild colours.. one day!

We have one of my fishing mates over from France for the weekend. Popped down to one of my local haunts this AM, Using soft plastics for Bass. A few years ago, I would never have dreamt of using lures for Bass later than October, but my mates and I have learnt a lot recently, so it was a nice mild morning, no wind and a rising tide, so we felt it was worth a cast or 2. It worked.....

Fishing for snook and got this guy. Missing a claw and a back fin. Been through a battle. Lived to fight another day.

Went fishing in mountain streams and ponds in Thurmont, Maryland. I didn't catch any but Amanda my wife and Uncle Bill each caught a rainbow. My job was to clean and prep them for dinner. Good deal.
Saw three golden (marker) trout up there this morning too. Two visible next to one another in a stream and a guy next to us at a pond reeled one in to show us.

@Mizmazzle yeah Golden trout are used as markers to show where the rainbows are. They look like this:
