@jiminstitches not answering for him but I have worn mine over a midweight flannel in the 30’s and have been plenty comfortable.
-
@goosehd looks fantastic!
-
@sweetlou Look up Taion. They're dirt cheap. Made of down. Fitted. Fits perfectly under a type 2.
-
@teddyjay thanks! I’ll look them up. I bought an inner down liner jacket from Danton but it turned out too big for a type 2. Funny since they said it was slim and I ordered a small….

The Y’2 leather rough out Type III jacket is real beauty. Can’t wait to see how it will develop/change with wear.
-
@Cskarev really digging this jacket man. I’ve been looking hard at the IH split steer but am a bit hesitant due to how heavy it is. Not sure if that weight effects an easy to wear feel that I’m looking for. How heavy is this Y’2? Looks like it has a smooth liner. How do you like that aspect of the jacket?
-
@Mizmazzle it is light and comfortable. Not heavy at all. I was looking for a jacket that will be fine for wearing with a tee when the temperatures reach around 16-18 degrees Celsius in spring time.
The photos that I have shared in the recent days were taken under weather conditions with temperature of 17-18 degree Celsius and I am wearing a short-sleeved tee under the jacket.
Here are some more photos - in general I am quite happy with the quality and the look of the jacket. If you want, I can take some shots from the inside to check the lining. -
@Cskarev thanks so much for the feedback man. Gorgeous roughout. I'm trying to get a handle on the cut of this jacket. Seems more in line with a traditional type 3. Shorter length in the body. How long is the back length of your jacket, if you don't mind me asking? This is where I always get hung up. I prefer my type 3's to have a slightly longer length than many seem to be designed with.
