Watches - another OCD problem

I get that but the He valve is a Seamaster signature!

@JDelage after wearing this one for a few days, it’s kind of growing on me. I’m just not used to white dials I guess and my brain needed time to adjust. It’s different that’s for sure. I’d love to try on a Rolex Explorer II with the white dial at some point to see how that looks and feels. Even that Rolex model, which was never considered one of their more highly sought after models, is hard to get these days.

Seikos first divers watch was introduced in 1965. My example of the 6217-8001 (aka 62MAS) is from 1967.

had this watch 30 years now ,still one of my fav dress watch. -

@Molle same as my speedy dark side of the moon, just got to be carefull not to drop them on a hard surface.

Seikos 2nd diver, 6215-7000. Only produced for one year, 1967. I thought the text of the M65 label was very suitable also for the watch.

5oz Dobby Cloth IHSH-358-IND and a 2004 Series D 16600

Love love love that Moser @JDelage

Grand Seiko SBGR305 from 2017. First one where they ditched Seiko at the top of the dial and Grand Seiko was made a brand of its own. Titanium case and 9S68 automatic movement.

Yeah that’s a beauty. Simplicity wins the day. A simple “automatic” is great. I don’t need the watch to flex about its Hi Beat or Spring Drive. I can simply watch the seconds hand if I feel I need to know that for some reason. Knowing whether or not it requires a manual wind is justifiable intel to display.

@Molle - Lovely GS. Have you seen the new(ish) SBGW305?
Not in the flesh. I have the old SBGW005 though which has the same bracelet.

This is not to your liking then I guess?
SBGC001 -
@Molle haha I admire it but indeed it’s a bit much for me.
I used to be a big chronograph guy but now I’m a diver guy for mechanical watches even though I just wear a fitness watch. What timing I don’t do on my phone can usually be done with a dive bezel and I like the ruggedness and not having to worry about taking a dip and things like that.

@mclaincausey divers watches are my favourites. The poor man’s chrono (the turning bezel) is very useful.

In case you forget overnight?
