Y’2 Leathers….

@Mizmazzle it is light and comfortable. Not heavy at all. I was looking for a jacket that will be fine for wearing with a tee when the temperatures reach around 16-18 degrees Celsius in spring time.
The photos that I have shared in the recent days were taken under weather conditions with temperature of 17-18 degree Celsius and I am wearing a short-sleeved tee under the jacket.
Here are some more photos - in general I am quite happy with the quality and the look of the jacket. If you want, I can take some shots from the inside to check the lining. -
@Cskarev thanks so much for the feedback man. Gorgeous roughout. I'm trying to get a handle on the cut of this jacket. Seems more in line with a traditional type 3. Shorter length in the body. How long is the back length of your jacket, if you don't mind me asking? This is where I always get hung up. I prefer my type 3's to have a slightly longer length than many seem to be designed with.
-
@Mizmazzle yes, it terms of cut and length it is more like traditional Type III. It is a bit shorter for my liking to be honest but it was only a thing in the beginning. Now I feel fine with the length. I am uploading some photos to check the back length and the lining. Not the best quality of the photos but I hope they will be helpful.

@Cskarev Very nice jacket man!
-
Thank you, guys! It is really a beautiful jacket!

A warm Sunday here. The rough out leather jacket is really nice!
-
Yeah, I see that you are very keen on the suede game, @Mizmazzle . And rightly so. You will not regret it, I am sure

happy monday everyone! a question for anyone that owns shop vancouver chore in camel roughout - did you notice any crocking or denim dye transfer on that full grain inner part of the jacket? dont have any experience with lightly colored leather jackets, and managed to ruin tobacco colored wax jacket with my wabby and other denim shirts.
-
@prpx My personal view is that indigo transfer/crocking adds to the jacket and I welcome it… but to each their own!
-
@Buckeye - i know what you're saying, and i dont mind it at all, otherwise i would never wear a white shirts with denim stuff which i do every day
that was specific light tobacco color jacket that i had, it was just random dark blue spots. color transfer was irregular and jacket just looked dirty -
@prpx ah that’s too bad. Could definitely see how that’d get annoying…
-
@prpx Ive had the Y2 shirt for about a year and there is a little bluing on the inside of the hem from indigo jeans, but not much on the smooth interior. Mind you I only have 1 indigo shirt and don’t wear them together too often. It’s a great piece if you decide to pick one up!
-
@_chadr_ - thanks man! looks like there’s nothing to worry about

Indigo Single Rider (IR-42). Around 20 wears in, getting some creasing on the arms and shoulder mobility is getting better… but this is going to take I think ~100 wears before it’s comfortable!

love those indigo jackets from Y2
