@Twistlock thanks dude, I'm at 137 wears today so it didn't take too long...been wearing em since last Halloween.
-
@Twistlock ahh gotcha gotcha well they are amazing when brand new!
-
That is insane @Oaktavia ! You’ve only got a month on my pair of XHS-666 but that’s definitely in wear time and not fades. Inspires me to be more active lol. I run a Screenprint shop by day(and night) and noticed my daily physical activity is all upper body.
-
@october-rust I walk a lot at work and move around quite a bit from work to home. Long walks by the river, gardening, housework, everything in these jeans.
-
@Oaktavia awesome! Do they find themselves in the wash or having a soak quite a bit? Or more of a spot-cleaning approach? I recall you have said about holding off that first wash for as long as poss?
-
@long_john86 I have not washed these at all, but I spot clean and remove any stains, dust, dirt etc. with water and spot cleaning and I use a RW boot brush to brush away dirt and whatever else gets on them. I work as a teacher so my jeans cannot look dirty if I wear them 3-4 days a week. Interestingly, my buddy @olblue has a pair of XHS that are nearly as old and his remain dusty as he does not need to appear as clean at work. I posted a photo of us in WAYWT yesterday and we are both wearing them.
-
@Oaktavia Cool idea with the RW brush - amazing this is all just pure wear!
-
@long_john86 yeah I typically do not get a lot of junk on my pants knocks on wood and when I do, I spot clean as soon as I can. I am trying to get to the proverbial 180 days before a machine wash but I'm struggling at day 138....42 to go I guess that doesn't seem like much. I just want to get to day 180 at least one time just to say I have and see if the hype is worth the 6 month wait that some folks swear by. I will say that if you are not diligent with keeping them manually spotless, the filthy feeling of the jeans does not seem worth it to wait this long.
-
I use a Kent clothes brush for spot cleaning.
-
@bluemantra yup, that's basically what I use. I actually use two brushes, one was made for beards but it is too coarse for my face. I use the "beard" brush if there are clumps of dried mud or something, then the finer boot brush to remove dust.

sorry if I interfere in the discussion (maybe I also misunderstood due to my terrible English), if it can be useful for cleaning stubborn stains and unpleasant odors, this Thai guy (I think he is from the Piger Works staff) has launched a few time its denim care products. I'll post the link IG maybe you already know it.

My son is now about the same size as me, at the age of 14. This is a weird thing to process.....
BTW, SBG's were a little warm yesterday as it hit about 90f, but not bad.
-
@WhiskeySandwich keep feeding him and any risk of him borrowing your IH gear will soon pass!
-
this kids been picking up a weightlifting habit and eating insane amounts. The IH that I've lent him already doesn't fit since he prefers looser stuff. He may get back into raws once he stops growing so fast lol
-
Officially the #1 rainbow I’ve ever seen. Bonus shot of the building it was burning through.
-
@WhiskeySandwich Holy crap!! Crazy how it looks like it’s burning through a magnifying lens!!
-
@Mizmazzle dang good shot!
