@Mizmazzle what length? My replacement laces are a bit long.
-
@mclaincausey I went 60” I double knot them. The laces that came with were not great….Very long and I had to wrap around my ankle. This length works great!
I do find it a takes practice getting the tension just right with these boots/ lacing style. Even the old laces to the new laces take a bit of practice to get the tension right. It’s easy to over cinch on one hook set and cause a pressure point. Or under cinch and cause looseness.

Cleaned up my natty Lous and gave em a treatment with some of Brian’s Role Club stuff. First time using it, stoked with the way it worked — as promised it didn’t darken the leather, and ended up not leaving too much of a shine. More just healthy.

@popvulture very very nice!! You’ve got some epic indigo transfer on those folds!!

@Mizmazzle I know! The crock is real w these guys.

@Mizmazzle Might be my favorite boots on this forum.

@Denimhead-0 I really like how the shape of the boot has changed and contoured as it breaks in. Not so blocky as when new.

Probably it was last week for boots to wear after weather gets warmer.

my new Y2 engineers arrived 🥳
first day in, and I‘am more than happy with them . The leather is out of this world , the eco horse leather is unbelievable soft out of the box . After only a few hours of wear they feel like a pair worn for a many days. They don’t really need a break in, just a moulding time I would call it. So for all of you that want a great pair of engineers ready to wear , go for them you can’t go wrong.
will keep you updated !
