Date Night

never understood Sunday best or saving something for a special occasion, you are essentially limiting your best clothes to infrequent wear....
Completely agree, I've been (playfully) accused being underdressed for evening events because I'll wear the same clothes I've worn during the daytime...
I'll dress my best each morning whether I plan to lounge around the house, go out to get milk or have a nice meal out.
No point having clothes that'll last a lifetime if you're not gonna put 'em through their paces.

@Giles haha. Well, I’m not much for high class dress myself. I was literally wearing those shorts doing yard work earlier in the day. I did take a shower and put on a clean Freenote shirt. So…
Date night is just a chance for me to wear my Iron Heart gear to some place other than work or sitting around my house.
But the intend of this thread wasn’t to showcase fancy clothes that only get worn on special occasions, it was to show fun times out with the special person in our lives.

-
@SourPower yeah man. Sap Sua was really good. If you go you’ll have to let me know what you think. I’d recommend the Tigers Milk cocktail. Amazing!!
Look forward to hearing about Xiquita!!

Once a month my folks take our 5 year old boy for the day and he stops over at their house for the night, giving us some much needed time to slow down a little and spend time together.
We always try and cram a lot into the day to make up for lost time, so more like Date DAY than date night!
Yesterday it began with a 7.5 mile walk…
On the way back a brief detour to a coffee shop for a chilled moment…
Back home for homemade chicken burgers for lunch, thighs pre-marinated before leaving the house, and a homemade dip…
Followed by film night, 2 horror films with some beers…
We love our little boy to pieces, It’s also nice to have this time once a month to remember/‘check in’ who we are as a couple as well.
And it’s true @Mizmazzle @seawolf, our partners are truly lucky to have us on board
