IHSH-399-ORA - 12oz Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Western Shirt - Orange
-
Hello,
For those who normally wear Large in UHFs (all mine are large and fit great) is anyone planning on sizing up to XL based on the measurements? I’m torn…
-
@allelsefailed I think it all depends on which measurement is important for you. I always base my purchases on shoulders and chest and I too am on the fence as the XL works chest wise, but the shoulders seem small. Then my decision is it far enough off that it would affect the fit...
Thankfully, it doesn't go live until Friday so I have a few days to decide.
-
@allelsefailed I think the XL would be too large for me. I typically like 18" shoulder so seeing 17.5 here scared me but everything else seems to be in line.
-
...and as always, if the published measurements are close to the size you need, but a little off: Buy the shirt that is closest to your desired size and put in the notes area of the purchase that you need a shirt with xx measurement in the area that matters most to you.
For example: I would buy the XL (my normal UHF size) and ask them if they can find a shirt with a 19" shoulder measurement if possible. They may not be able to get a 19", but could come close.

I am so on the fence with the sizing of this one. I’m usually a solid XL in UHF but these measurements are making me think XXL. Tough decision!!

Any chance on postponing the drop until the week of the 23rd??? Worth a shot lol
-
@clutchdealer we would have delayed to the party weekend if we had the space to house ours, those for the 700 retailers @Matt references and also receive more goods next week

Just received our stock of these. SO unbelievably nice! Great job IH

Those pics of Sam wearing it really show off the slub, and they've convinced me the stock black snaps are the way to go. Maybe. Size up for me too.

@brooklynclothing I will be coming by to get one!!

This or the 21oz urghhhh

@nrtphotos don't bother man. I've been saying that for years and it only gets you ignored or ridiculed. Bottom line is these shirts are made for tall, slender people. If you are average height and stocky and you happen to find a size you're willing to accept, then there you go. Otherwise try work shirts. They drive me nuts because the tail flaps in the wind like a flag. I end up getting my sleeves tailored. Never looks the same but it works for me.
