Wow I'm so impressed with the response time on these... They say IH Customer Service is top notch, but are you kidding me? haha, thanks gentlemen! Honestly, I'm having a hard time with an untrained eye telling each of the suggested UHF's apart, but ither way it seems like this is a 12 oz classic UHF with Aspero cotton?

@Alex while we're on the subject: any plans to make another maroon/cream shirt? Not necessarily buffalo check
I had my Maroon/Cream Western for sale, and I thought considering how much people had been clamoring for a rerun,it would sell in 2 seconds. It sat on the Market Place forever, and I eventually started wearing it again. I would love a Purple/Cream Buffalo Check, just in case.

As someone who is relatively new to Iron Heart shirting, I have my head all twisted up about the sizing. I was on a work trip and picked up an IHSH-403, I tried on an XL which I have 5 other shirts in that size from Iron Heart, including IHSH-369 which is the slubby flannel, the measurements of 403 and 369 seemed similar enough when I compared, I almost even ordered it online from Self Edge.
When I went in to Self Edge I tried on the XL and it felt short and the sleeves were super tight, I didn't even try to button it up in the front, then I tried on the XL and it was like a "relaxed fit" you could say, it looks like the same fit in photos compared to 369 when wearing them side by side, but the measurements are quite a bit larger in some areas like the chest (sleeve length is another story but less concerned there).
All that said, is it normal to be different sizes across shirts? I am most likely over thinking it but just want closure that I didn't mess up by not spending more time in the XL.

@Ikeaparty Yes, there are often slight (and sometimes not so slight) variations across different shirt models of the same size. That is why it is always recommended to check the shirt-specific size chart, and if possible as you discovered, try on in person.
I have yet to not fit into my ‘normal’ size, but it happens regularly to a lot of people, and there is much discussion across the shirting threads.

Sizing varies from model to model. We'd rather it did not, but fabrics behave differently when stitched up. That is why we post sizing for every item, not just have a general shirt sizing table. Any manufacturer/retailer who does do that is basically posting a "this is what we would like it to be" size chart......
I bought a couple of shirts (both the same tag size) from another brand recently, I had to go by their general shirt size table. One was way to small, the other marginally too large.
When comparing sizing measurements, make sure you do it in one place, IHUK, SE, RandH etc etc. Because there is variance how different retailers measure, so you need to be comparing apples with apples

Okay this all makes sense and puts my mind at ease!! This is the comparison of 369 vs 403 and to me it looks ALMOST the same but 403 doesnt look too large as far as i can tell!
