Glad I was able to get my typical XXXL size thought I could possibly go to XXL the chest measurement showed almost 25, but I think at least the one I tried on was a little bit smaller…instantly it wasn’t going to fit Before I even tried to put my second arm through. I’m 6 feet to 220-ish. Horrible pics, but hopefully this might help somebody make a decision on size
I think you got the correct size, smaller and the buttons might be pulling? I just ordered a size in my typical western size

Very concerning. I size down, but ever shop owner is wearing their standard size. I think I’m going to buy an XL now and return the one that doesn’t fit.
I also sized down from my normal large to medium. Josh @ iron shop provisions went down one size as well. I'll find out tomorrow when the ups guy makes his rounds. fingers crossed.
-
@jimboss ha yeah mine comes tomorrow, too. I have an XL coming Wednesday so I’ll pick the one that fits the best. Good luck
-
I’ll be curious which one works out for you. I sized down from my usual XL to Large and it arrives tomorrow as well. Fingers crossed!!

The issue for me 99% of the time is the chest(48.5-49” actual chest measurement) even if I can get in the arm holes and the shoulders are close it’s a no go if the chest is tight. I would imagine some people would have a little more flexibility between sizes?
-
@Galena418 hey, I went with my normal IH shirt size - Small. My Wabash Workshirt is a Small, and I also went with a Small in this Cord Western. It's def slimmer in the body (but I can spare room there), pretty identical fitting elsewhere. This shirt is 11oz but it feels really light, breathable... its more maneuverable, and not super dense? Compared to my 12oz Wabash - which feels like a "thick/sturdy/heavy" shirt. Hope this helps! Kinda wished this shirt had a bit more "chunk/beef" to it like the Wabash. Still a 10/10.
-
@99agility funny that you bring this up, I actually just ordered both shirts in the western cut. I actually would not mind if the 11oz is soft, we’ll see how thick the wabash 12oz is. My only two other IH shirts are the classic buffalo UHF(dense) and the 9oz ombré pattern.

Got the Large in from IHUK and it "fits," but def on the tighter side. So I am going to go with the XL I bought.
-
My L is on the right side too and when buttons done up, the sleeves are short!
-
Mind sharing your measurements? I’m 6 ft 185 lbs and I’m thinking I may need to find an XL. I sized down to LG and it is ever so slightly on the tight side. Sleeves are a little short too.

@pjroo33 about the same. Get the XL
5’10” 175lbs of solid muscle -
@JerkStore you got any fit pics of the L and XL mate?
-
@doubletee nah I left the L at my office to send back and the XL comes Wednesday. The Large “fit,” but it was definitely borderline tight. Stick with your typical size in this is my advice.
-
Agreed - I need to go XL. You are a teensy bit smaller than me but apparently WAY more jacked!!

Haha it was sarcasm, but I do have a larger chest for my sizing.
-
@JerkStore I do too. Like a 44" chest. I went with the XL, since the sleeves on the L would be too short. We'll see.
-
Terrific shirt! Fits pretty different, as mentioned, than my XXL UHF. I’m a 44” chest and went with the XL. Man, the color and fabric (and snaps) are killer.
I like the XL fit, waist is larger than my XXL UHF, but drapes so well. A flattering shirt indeed—bonus points. -
Is this the type material that would soften up over time and drape better, or do you think it will remain on the stiffer side?
