Seul, Lando and I were talking about such a thing when we met up w/Giles, Paula, Brian (Katsushin), and Arrow and saw the cottun duck sample jacket. Hopefully Lando can better explain what we want to present

We all tried on Giles' duck Type III (which strangely fit us all perfectly) and agreed it's much softer to the touch than you might think.  Pete brought up the shirt idea and once you've felt the material it does make sense…

I've actually got a shirt in the same exact material and love it.  I think G said his duck was around 16 oz.  (but I stress again how soft and comfortable it was).

My IH related daydream today:

Just curious if it's possible from a constructional standpoint to create a shirt like IHSH-08 with the 16oz denim of the Engineers jeans (IH-809) … This denim seems to have incredible properties, and if it feels like Egyptian cotton like G. mentioned this would make an incredible shirt.

& i second shoreman's request, but i do recall some speculation about a heavier chino workpant being produced after the 702s. . . but it sounds like the production schedule is really backed up, so who knows if this is still going to happen this year
