I guess he could not squeeze "GOOD FOR ONE NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE" into the available space
Was that the Rivet and Hide Party? I was in contact with Mike one day before the party seeing that he is in London. I told him he must go to the Rivet and Hide opening, was he there?

Yep that patch took some heat for sure, and it did not really helped that I was giving it plenty of Obenauf’s Heavy Duty LP after each wash. But no regrets here, it was all in an effort to shrink the denim as much as possible. -
Also a reflection after watching the two fantastic episodes of Full Grain podcast by Nick Horween (yes that Horween!) and Phil Kalas. They have one of the main guys at the tannery - Esteban Perez, explaining the tanning, retanning and finishing.
The main point is that every leather has its purpose and the pure veg tan is not really a great choice for prolonged contact with water or high temperatures. The chrom tanned leathers or combination tanned (base is chrome base-tannage and then vegetable re-tannage) on the other hand withstand those environments quite well (Chromexcel was used for motor seals and gaskets). I would love to see a patch made of natural Chromexcel!A must watch for everyone interested about leather.

I just love any types of red W or arcs that are odd colors. I would love a pair of jeans a turquoise W and a purple arc or vice versa. That would be amazing. Seeing the other versions from the past remind me of the SNES game Yoshi's Island where there are multi colored Yoshis.
-
@Oaktavia Yeah man, they’re definitely your colours.
That game takes me back too!
