@Jcaz6996 holy sh!t!!! Looks great buddy. Did you wash or soak it? How long has it been worn?
-
@FlavourFade cheers buddy, 148 Days so far still dry

@Jcaz6996 - torn between this and the SBG 526. Can’t decide. Can’t get both but as I have the lefty 526 think I will go for the SBG.

@Mister_Brue Maybe because it’s taken from my iPhone makes it look lighter , I usually use a Cannon to take my photos.
Have a good weekend to bud -
@Crispy-Heron definitely a tough choice mate, I personally would go for the SBG because it’s been so long in the making and pick this one up again. But don’t get me wrong I absolutely LOVE this type lll its bad ass .

Hello everyone! Need help! Who knows what kind of jacket this is?
-
@AntonKostov this is for sure a IH-526Lod.
Hope this helps!

Can anyone comment that has had the 526Lod for a long time and worn the crap out of it. Does it fade to blue or keep its overall black color and tone? I'd really like a black type 3 that still looks black when faded. These look great, but just don't want a blue denim jacket after a lot of wear.

It's not a black jacket. It's indigo od and will show indigo with time and wear. Eben new my one had spots where the dye did not go through and it looks greyish to indigo. It fades fast for a jacket in my opinion. There's a superblack type 3 which don't fade at all and an upcoming sbg which fades to grey in high wear areas. Scroll to the beginning of the thread there are more faded examples.

@AdamJ Bloody awesome

From the above photo it still looks black to me. It looks fantastic and how I'd want a worn black jacket to look. It's difficult to tell from photos though. I see other photos of this jacket in the sun and it looks dark blue when faded. I've been looking at the SBG and non fade superblack as well. I'd probably go for the superblack non fade, but I'm reading too many differing opinions here on the breaking in of the fabric (or never breaking in), shorter sleeve measurements compared to the rest of the type 3s, etc. The LOD is my second pick and there is something about that left hand twill that seems to make a great fit. SBG is tempting, but I don't want a light grey jacket down the road.

@jpvisual the SBG denim will fade to grey, eventually, but it will take a long, long time. These are jeans that are really well worn, still black, but lots of grey. Would take a hell of a lot of wear to do the same to a jacket.

@Alex thanks! The photos are helpful. Is the SBG listed on your site right now the old version and cut or the new slimmer updated cut?
