Lando - I hope I did you a little proud with the opening presentation. Just trying to follow your lead.
I'll take some pics of my ish later this week. I have a couple pair of Logans (Elk, soft as f*ck), a pair of Yucca Mocs (which I think I'm going to sell because I don't wear them much), and a couple pairs of Virgils.
I'm serious when I say Yahoo JP Auctions are your friend. I got both Logans for about half of retail, even with proxy charges. Kiefers
are pretty common on there. For the most part, the outerwear is dope but really pushes me as far as $. The varsity jacket they just had for F/W almost made
me poop my pants it was so nice. Then I saw it was more than 2Gs…I'm currently looking for a pair of the Lauda Kiowa Folk, but they're a bitch to find:

Only a fool knows the price of everything, but true intelligence is measured by those who understand the value. (Lecaeur)
great tip on the Yahoo JP Auctions

If you feel like paying OTA, HB from HK has a good selection of the new stuff:

I wouldn't suggest it unless desperate.

Check with Union, they had larger sizes last time I talked to them… just be ready to pay retail. If you find 'em in 9.5, lemme know!
Yeah I saw that. Just have to wait it out for my day in the sun. Looks like you grabbed your pair thanks to aki! Let's see some flicks…

I wear either cp or visvim logan lo most days. I take a size 42 in cp and 9 in the Logan lo, if anyone needs a size comparison.
I was surprised to see that the visvims were made in china and were glued instead of stitched. Also, the glue job seemed a bit sloppy. I haven't worn them enough yet to test their long term quality. Otherwise, I really like them.
I would like a pair of kiefers but the retail price is way too high. I'll be in la in a few days so I may have to have a look at them though.

I await you analysis Dr. P!

I own few pairs or visvim shoes but the earlier launched shoes are mostly made in Korea and the quality is been good. It does not fall apart when I wear them again after putting aside for maybe around 1 year or more. I have to agree the price shoot up quite a lot till I have to stop buying their shoes as they are going over-priced.

Yeah, the prices are the prices. I think there was a recent post on SuFu pointing out pricing from a few years back and what they are now with some mention of the decline of the dollar for us poor Americans. The increase isn't actually much.
I mean, honestly, they're a luxury brand just like other brands some of us are into. Either you're into it and you'll shell out or you won't.
