@meatmarketdenim1 good stuff. I think this quote was from Rad, delivered by a young Lori Laughlin: “you overrotated.” “No… shit…”
-
@Graham this is awesome!! Did you guys have the skater vs. roller blader beef rivalry in the UK?
We were sworn enemies for some stupid reason where I grew up. Then I moved to Colombia, South America and tried to bring that same douche- baggery to the scene there and those guys shut it down so fast. They had no idea why such a division would split their friends.

@Graham the golden days! Do you still blade? I'm back at it at 44, having a blast. The industry has come a long way, but still underground.
@Mizmazzle here in Australia there used to be a bit of beef in the 90s, early 2000s. Now days were all 35+ adults with a better take on things. We're now united against scooter kids
(not really, they've come along way too)

@ManiacLachy hahah. Scooters are light years cooler than Soap Shoers! No matter how old and chill I become I will never be able to give a pass on this one…

Nice, possibly Ijen. I once went down into the Bromo vulcano not far from there (but no lake)
You're absolutely right; it was the Ijen with its traditional sulfur mining. Nowadays it's probably only a tourist attraction.
The sulfuric gas ignites naturally in a blue fire:

@goosehd That was our gas & grilled cheese money
made a mint selling those 7.5% beers at shows along with patches that I had made up while in Nepal. Good memories.
