Here’s my other guitars that I rarely get to play anymore.. epiphone sheraton, got this about 20 years ago and a lyon & healy parlour guitar from the 1920s.. this little guitar has a massive sound..

@chillmonroe enjoyed your picking and singing in this tune. The Henderson sounds great, I can see why you regret parting with it

@VoodooRay couple more beauties. I’m really drawn to the parlor. Is that a mahogany top? I’ve always loved the dry response of hog topped guitars

Finally picked this up this year. It's a murphy lab R0, but I got a really good deal on it (around $3000.00 USD) from my local guitar center. First thing I did when I got it home was took some sandpaper to the back of the neck to make it feel more like a natural maple neck. Then swapped out the volume and tone knobs since I much prefer the gold top-hat look of the 59's. The pickups, however, in these historic re-issues are lots of fun...perhaps a little too much fun for my neighbors.......or my wife..

Getting back into guitar after 10 years or so of not playing.
Trying to catch up with all the new gear. Got myself an axe coming next week and have ordered a a usb audio interface and midi keyboaard to get into the computer shiz, programming drums etc rather than just playing through an amp.
I have just discovered amp plugins / simulators and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for metal? Thinking Neural DSP / Mixwave, Amplitube, Amphub?

My great-grandfathers 1931 Martin C-1.
My most cherished family heirloom!

@Graham For modeling, folks seem to like Fractal quite a bit (e.g. FM9, FM3). I'm a Kemper person myself. You might go down the rabbit hole on The Gear Page/modeling forum ... so many options: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?forums/digital-modeling-gear.53/
