IHSH-414-WHT - 9oz Cotton Linen Work Shirt - Off White

Also want to weigh in ans say that the sleeve length is not an issue as potentially expected given the measurement. can't exactly say why but it's one of the best fitting shirts I own from IH.

I would say so for sure. The shoulders are quite wide on these as you can see where the shoulder seam sits on my XL and as the sleeve measurement is measured from that seam - that's how it can look short on paper but not once on.
@tvaillant75 see above. We have this phenomenon occasionally - last i remember it was on the IH-101J-SR where everyone was freaking out about the sleeve length, but when you combine the sleeve and the shoulder from centre neck, it was plenty long..

@J-IV They still have Small and Medium... Diet?
-
@Tago-Mago my answer was zero….
-
You suck at this @Alex. But appreciate you trying.
@will6er the irony is those are the two sizes that I typically take on with IH tops. But I am do for a diet..
My local shop isn't stocking this one, which I thought would help, but it's only making me want to it more especially after seeing it with the GAH button bling. Let me lose a bit more sleep on this

Well, I believe that was a blessing in disguise not being able to get a XXXL.
Sp-large with a hot soak just on the arms(and machine dry) will probably shrink it up perfectly. The wife thinks I’m clinically insane as I systematically shrink to fit shirts, but it’s tough when you’re just barely 6’ and you wear the large sizes. Will also probably do a cold soak and line dry to tighten everything up….
That being said the shirt is ridiculous, love the blend. actually a little lighter weight than expected. I think I’ll be able to wear this throughout the summer in Atlanta.

Welp this one will not do for me
this would have been my first IH shirt.
Really like the fabric and color, but no magic for me here for arm length like for others in this thread.
I guess my arms are really monkey-ish because I miss 2 cm at least in arm length, probably more to allow even a T-shirt underneath. All other measurements are top notch, and going up one size would be way too large in P2P, waist and opening.
There are 2 other shirts I'm looking forward to, hope one will do at least

I always wear XXXL or XXXXL, regardless of “measurements” the bottom of the cuff and length of the arm fits on this shirt just like all my others. Relatively speaking, they’re all about the same.

@northsouthdenimguy Ah ! if this is true, then maybe I'm out of luck regarding IH shirt in general, and that would be reaaaaally sad
The only way here I could have gained what I miss on the length is to go to a Large with more shoulders, but then with a P2P of 57,x cm, where my ideal is 53,5-54 cm.
Waist-wise I think I would then look like some weird kite.Crossing fingers for my 2 other future ventures though

@Slash Have you tried one on? Before I did I assumed that the sizing was way off (small body / long arms) but found all the ones I tried fit fine.
-
@will6er Ah yeah I didn't mention it, but yes I did tried one today.

Mine arrived today! Normally a perfect xxl in IH shirts and flannels, went with a xl due to shoulders being bigger than normal xxl sizing. It fits perfectly! I have to admit that before I put it on I was not sure what I thought about it, I let it hang up for a while, and then decided to put it on and took a look in the mirror and then I noticed how much the shirt pops against skin tone. The material is really soft to the hand, but yet looks substantial. I appreciate that the buttons are the same color as the shirt as much as I love snaps and fancy buttons sometimes it’s nice to have a shirt that just blends in nicely. As for the sewing, what do you say it’s always impeccable. I think this shirt is one that could get worn a lot. You can dress it up or you can dress it down. This shirt is cool….have been wearing it all day and have noticed that this “off-white” shirt takes on different hues in different light ranging from off-white to ecru to almost a buttery white! Very nice.
