IHSH-338-BLK - 12oz Selvedge Denim Work Shirt With Snaps - Black/Black

For those who have this, or if IH crew knows...how about this "half a size shrinkage with hot wash"...
Would i not shrink at all with lets say 30C wash and no dryer ?
Is the shrinkage expected proportionally everywhere, like also length & sleeves length ?Thanks for all the sound advice you guys provide on this forum !

@Slash If you don’t want it to shrink then avoid agitation at high temps. If you wash it at 30degC and hang dry, it’s unlikely to shrink beyond its original dimensions. 30degC is far from “hot”. Conversely with STF, the longest dimension will shrink the most and therefore you’ll note more dimensional change in body length vs arm length on this shirt for example.

@Boit
Thanks for having taken the time to answer me !Nice to hear it could possibly not move much if I wash it around 30C, what I mostly do with nice clothes I have.
Btw, when you say "not shrink beyond it's original dimension", do I infer correctly that this shirt will stretch with wear like a denim jacket/jeans ?
I guess it's logical since it's denim but I have never had a denim shirt yet !

yep, if there is a particular area of the shirt that is being regularly strained it’ll stretch (up to a point).

Thanks @Boit. I finally (kinda) got my work shirt CPO haha

@Choko hell yes

@Choko The copper buttons pop against that blackest-of-black denim. Good choice!

Picked this up recently and it's way nicer than I expected. 12oz is right on the money for the weight!
