I was just inspecting the details on these jeans and needless to say, they are pretty cool. The stitching is way thicker that the other pairs of IH's that I have. Does anyone know if there is a reason that they don't show the selvedge seam on the inside seam? Maybe they made these out of left over material?

which i bought before, than they came out with the 666s that are selvedge through & through & are pretty slim.

301s are really loved in some circles. wonder if the 666s are seen as the heir or just another slim cut?
just rhetorical, no need to answer anyone & besides slim jeans aren't really my thing

The 301S was originally conceived as a non selvedge jean. The same silhouette could be achieved to show the selvedge line, but it would be a radical redesign. I originally thought it was due to the taper, but learnt otherswise when I was designing the Devils's Fit with Tom and Haraki….
