Iron Heart x Self Edge CPO Jacket
One of our hottest items this winter is a jacket we did with Iron Heart out of a black and gray heavy cotton fabric with a super lightweight inner lining. The jacket has a 2-way metal zipper that's anodized black with tan leather pulls.
The jacket fit is great for wearing anything from just a t-shirt underneath to layering underneath with multiple long sleeve shirts. We're excited for this piece because it's not only very versatile but very functional in terms of how warm and lightweight it is.
Only done in one run, there are no restocks on this item.
Specs:
100% Super Heavy Cotton Flannel
Triple Brushed Outer
Black Anodized Metal Zipper
Quilted Super Light Weight Nylon/Poly Lining
Rinsed Fabric (Will Not Shrink)
Two-Way Zipper with Tan Leather Pulls
Slash side pockets and patch breast pockets with double button fastening

Unfortunately I forgot to print my payment proofs, so I'll get it tomorrow. Looking so forward to it.

i'm soo mad i missed out on this jacket… they lowered the price to 315 and all 4-5 XL's disappear...
-
max copped his for 350$ and i copped at 320$…would have bought it anyways, even for retail...so yeah!
but all in all, after custom-fees and shit, we`re paying the full price anyway
Really? The guys at SE are usually pretty good about negating those fees on their orders. But let's say, in your case, they don't, do you really pay close to $200 in custom fees?
What size did you go with? XL?

I could check but I'm too lazy. (same customs % in all EU) I suspect some 10% customs fee of CIF price + VAT of Germany.
Edit
I checked: Taric code is 6201 11 00 90 if I'm not totally wrong, customs 12% calculated from CIF price, then you add Germanys VAT calculated before mentioned sum. -
Germany has possibly the most venal customs officers you are likely to encounter. This combined with the exorbitant import taxes make it about one of the most expensive countries to import stuff in to.
And to make it worse, the German customs officers know how to use the WWW, so they just look at what the real value is and ignore the declared…....

So does finnish officers. They look up Ebay purchases by the item number…no cheating on those. But otherwise, it's the invoice that rules here. Unless it's ridiculously low...

Thanks, guys. A nice glimpse into what some of you have to deal with when making transactions.

I don't know why, but this literally stunned me.

well i don`t think that it will hit the 200$ mark but some like 90$ or so could be the money for custom fees…
was a bit ironic there matefrom the stuff i
ve ordered lately i just had to pay customs to the 7301 ordered from monday. he marked it as a gift BUT with a value of 200+$...so they
ve charged me 19% on the price i did pay through paypal.
others got marked as gift but with a tiny value and i had to pay nothing...packages haven`t even went through customs... -
rom the stuff i

ve charged me 19% on the price i did pay through paypal.Ha! Monday stiffed you. That marked value will definitely do it and makes sense with respect to my experiences.
But yeah, I can't wait to see you guys in this jacket–maybe you'll sway me into a purchase since the BR X WG MA-1 didn't work out.

320$= approx 222€ -> free shipping, right? so you should be paying around 27€ customs-> 249€ -> VAT 19% ->around 296€ is total price. about 75€ to be paid. Let me know how wrong my calculations were.
well the last time i only had to pay the 19% so yeah…we`ll see
maybe MaxP. can tell us more tomorrow! -
Yeah, german customs are bloodsuckers: one week shipping including customs, but I'll have to pay full price on the retail price. And you can't come and tell them :" Hey, this is a gift by my buddy Kiya" or do some fake money transfers. No way…
I also think that I'll pay between 70 and 80 €, for my Flat Head Shirt (value 255$) i paid 60, but then the dollar was stronger. Will know more tomorroe. but more important: I'll have my jacket then.
