wow. thats gnarly

I think that this have been said some where else before.. But please pardon me if I say this again. Will this denim be used for the busters? If so, instant purchase.

Right G.. But just to confirm again. This denim would be the same as the VMC 634XHS/666XHS. Right?
And another pair of denim which would be out soon in the 634 would be the 634s RAW right? Sorry if it's confusing..

Yes this is the same denim as used in the IH-634-VMC and IH-666-VMC.
And yes, coming up later in the year is the IH-634S-RAW, which is the 634S cut but in the 21/23oz denim we used on the IH-634SR.
OK?

Okay boss.. I get it now..

To celebrate VMC in Zurich's 25th anniversary on 11th September 2011, we produced a batch of 25oz denim. This denim is being made into both the 634 (straight) and the 666 (super slim tapered) cuts. 150 of each cut are being specifically made for VMC and will be designated the IH-634-VMC and the IH-666-VMC. The balance of the denim is being used for other projects, the IH-634-XHS (extra heavy selvage) being the first. Identical to the VMC version in all respects other than they have different patch and flasher.
The VMC versions will only be available from VMC in Zurich.

"Wow.. you wouldn't think 4 ounces would make that much difference in thickness"
–> It's a strange thing to describe the thickness and feeling of denim just by the weight. For example, I found, that the 19 oz Samurai denim didn't feel much heavier than the 17 and even the 15oz denim. The 21 oz is remarkably thicker and again, the 24/27 oz denim felt much heavier.
And my 14-14,5 oz LVCs feel much lighter than my 15,7oz Momos. So, there's much more than just the weight, like G said, these 25 oz IHs seem to be very stiff and tightly woven, which may make them feel even heavier.
