WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
On Wednesday I was invited by my friend to go to Infineon Raceway to watch the Wednesday Night Drags….. It's been about 13+ years since I was here last (when it was first called Sears Point). Warning... lots of pics:
And my favorite part of the night….. Harley's Draggin
I'm posing in front of my friend's smart car "japanese mag" style
-
so i was pretty active at the weekend.
at first i took some shots again:
Photography Post Vol.2 - #1
Photography Post Vol.2 - #2so on sunday i went to Bern again, after i was the first time (2.5months ago, for a traineeship interview, which i`m now in!)…
i was at the famous "Albert Einstein House, the famous "Zeitglockenturm" (=clock tower) and the famous "Bärengraben" (=bear ditch?)...From now on i`ll let the pics do the talking
then i had to get up there, using…
the view from up top
(you might can see the bear in the middle, but we`ll get to that later)
some nice gardens (for roy6 to work in!)
some nice sculptures on top of the fountain
in front of the Albert Einstein House
as well as a bronze-statue of Einstein
finished reading and down the steps i went
there even was a little caffee before the exit
you already can see the clock tower ("Zeitglockenturm")
done with sightseeing this old train passed by
some statue in front of the court
some crowded places where you can eat and drink a lil`some some
after some walking i was back at the hostel i
ve spent the night when i had my interview for the traineeship. crazy thing was, that me and the gf haven
t even recognized this side of the bridge we went over the bridge and all, but just on the left side, so we i haven`t seen this until yesterdaythe bear ditch ("Bärengraben")
the little ones are sleeping
(one of them was given to the city by the company i`m working for atm!)
this was actually the first and original "ditch" the bears were in, after the build up the new one (seen above!)
view at the old part of the city
and this is actually the view i`ve posted as i was in Bern for the first time (hostel on the right!)
that`s it :)…

the devils and me are at work again today (so as on all the other weekdays!)…
besides the office job i also have the option to checkout the construction site whenever i have the feeling i need to go check it
so since a few weeks where past since i took the last "update shots" i climed up this 165 feet tall badboy to get some new ones!
arrived at the top this is what the construction site looks like (office in the back!)
the logistics building where the company will store all there stuff.
the administration building where all the office stuff gonna happen in future.
guys were casting concrete
filling it in these big buckets right here!
and then filling up the wall shutterings with it.
for all the guys wondering what this could be:
here`s the answer. these are balls filled with air to save some weight and some concrete in the ceiling.
gonna look like this when they are finish with installing them.
a short waywt-denim version-shot
oh yeah, and i also marked the hdc-territory
hope y`all can see the tiny decal hanging up there!
that`s it for today…
have a good one stubborn crew!
-
Wow Finn, that's some serious work there!
-
You're a nutter for going up there… I'd do one sport of that ladder and call it a day... Or in my words "Well, let's hit the pub".
So what do you call me now for going up there again, today ?…
So this morning the construction guys were building up this 36 feet tall shuttering
cleaning it so that the outside of the concrete will be smooth as a baby`s ass
the armor to reinforce the concrete wall
oh and the "balls" got there concrete on today
at first we need to fill in a small layer of concrete so that the "balls" which are attached to the underarmor won
t float/come up and bring up all the armor-construction underneath it. the 2nd layer of concrete will get filled in after the first layer is almost dry so that the floating won
t happen but that the 1st and 2nd layer still going to connect.
filling the concrete in the pumping-wagon
