This weekend the 24h de Mans are the center of the motorsport world.

To honour the participants I decided to stage my own Grand Prix Of Carpetville with a young female rookie driver (Ferrari 512 BB). Me was driving a Porsche 935:

@ elclintor: The Porsche won - and Madame was not amused:

Her hazardous drive style ended in a DNF for the Ferrari.

Instead of spraying Champagne from Magnum bottles I decided to celebrate the victory with Madame at the local ice cream shack.

Just got back from my house hunt in San Diego.  Great IH weather there with many cool days and low humidity.  Headed that way permanently in a couple of weeks.

went to Taipei for the weekend…

wedding proceedings in the hotel lobby:

went to Taipei 101 - one of the tallest buildings on this planet:

inside there on the top they had this thing to stabilize the building:

in order to get up and down we had to use one fast elevator:

explored the denim scene of Taipei a bit…
Take5 Taipei - this is where you get IH (jeans & tees, rest of the line can be ordered through the shop):

on the opposite site we saw this bike parked in front of a Dickies store:

Faith - a tiny store for Buzz Rickson:

Thurs - impressive selection of Lewis Leather's (Jackets & Boots):

went cycling for the rest of the day.
