Agree, really lucky you got to see it! It's on my list of buildings to see before I die. I just love all the thought behind the building to integrate it with the landscape, and then the stunning result showing the power and constraint of architecture.

23 hours in California.
After the show I met Big Z @zhivago & his awesome wife Courtney at a hotel. Had a difficult time meeting up at the show. I had poor phone service and then I lost my rental car, 90 min later I found it. Damn you gummy bears! Currently sitting @ San Francisco airport to head back to JFK. Pretty sick 24 hour adventure. Needless to say I am exhausted haven't slept since 2:45am Saturday morning.

A Grateful Dead trip @derivative666
It seems as if you are thrilled. -
It was a great time, Friday and Saturday will do it again in Chicago

It is work of art, but as a building structurally, it has been moving (especially the cantilevered, unsupported portions), and has required tens of millions to stabilize.
Kentuck Knob is another Wright artwork in that area. A lesser British royal bought it in the '80s for about $900K.

Today, I did The Sea Horse swim - the course was in open water . My preparation for the swim was to clean my goggles last night….
I got a bad nights sleep as I was actually super nervous....Anyway, I did it. The course (as someone who can actually swim in a straight line) is 3.8kms. I know I am not a particularly fast swimmer, but I was a little surprised that the swim took me 1hr 44mins and I was one of the last to finish. When I got home I downloaded my GPS data, I actually swam 3.64miles (5.8kms). I better work on swimming in a straight line......
