Killen's sounds great. Next time I'm in that area I'll have to look it up. And stay away from the caterpillars.

At the airport again, starting my birthday week bonanza. Today I go to Okayama, specifically to Kojima Jeans Street….. Hoping to go to PBJ and Iron Heart, at very least. And, I dream to find a pair of Kapital Century Denim jeans.
Luckily, this leg of the trip is only a few hours today and tomorrow, because Lord knows I could easily spend a months earning in a place like that, lol. I have promised myself that IF I do shop, I will only buy a single item (Aside from grabbing more 1600's......). No excess.

In the Big Apple today.
Lots to buy here.height=853]http://i1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj584/twinwhr/DSC04517_zps8t1i7b9a.jpg
Now inline for the buss back home.castles, Birdie Sanders, rye whiskey, civility…IH forum is a rare pleasure.

I took a wander down to Albert Park and Middle Park yesterday. They're suburbs that back onto the beach in Melbourne, and are where the Australian Grand Prix is run.
I wanted to take a look at a couple of houses that were open for inspection. Unfortunately Melbourne is in the grip of a property bubble, and prices are somewhat irrational. A two bedroom place in need of some love was given a guide of $2 million! Bear in mind that this will be going up for auction in a few weeks, and the local real estate agents are renowned for quoting lowball figures. It could go for a lot more than that.
There is, however, another slight problem: The Guardian reported on what will get flooded in the event of sea levels rising. The red box roughly covers Albert and Middle Park! :o
However, I did get to see the Acute House, which has recently been completed. I've posted photos of it before (here, here and here).
The owner is obviously taking the threat of sea level rises seriously, as there's shark netting to keep unwanted guests off the balcony!
I also saw a sign that is of no use to me: I don't have any hair, and I drink neither beer nor coffee!
