I'm still wondering whether a size S would work or not… Bear with me: my best fitting IH shirts are the 50 and the 43... Specs:
50 (M): s2s 17, p2p 21 (most important measurements for me)
43 (M): s2s 17.3", p2p 21.5"
55 (S): s2s 16.8", p2p 21.5"Length on 43 size M and 55 size S is the same... Help!..

This shirt is slightly larger than the IH standard but in my opinion not large enough to size up.
The model on the Self Edge web site looks like he sized down based upon how the sleeves and shoulders look:

he washed, that usually includes agitation. how bad are the sleeves that you want to shrink them up?
I figured the OD would get rid of all the shrinkage thanks for confirming G,
I exchanged my XL for L….
Monday, I wanted to make sure it would stay the same size... I ended up being between sizes on this one. The XL was just to big across the shoulders and back I was getting weird bunching. We will see, If I do not like the large I will sell it to get the IHD-01. I Only have shirt because I wanted to get rid of some super old SE store credit..... Hope you had a merry Christmas Monday !

It is my experience that the heft of this fabric makes it feel smaller than the measurements suggest…....G
I would agree with G on this…. Here is a conversation I had with Monday. I have lost a little weight and I felt the XL was a little big. Should have given the XL a chance to drape. XL is my normal IH size. Now I have to decide If I should try and sell the L as new or wear it.....
