@The:
21st
I'll not make my first after-a-long-trip-thirsty glugged down pint the 6.66% one next time.
It went down far too easily on an empty stomach.
I made that mistake - I felt quite messy on the Friday too! Don't regret a thing!
Last full day in Gosport. The trip would not be complete without a big breakfast on High St.
Pleasure to meet you scooter, glad to see you took in the local delicacies before heading home! Safe travels my friend.
@Kasi it was a blast Mo, great to meet you. Don't ever change!
@Matt I think Katie wears the cut better mate, you should have got her to buy you two! Was great fun being your attorney on the last table standing and I'm glad my advocacy had some influence.

Our score from the party. An 888 slubby for my love.

That’s a superb fit @Signal11

WTG team… I really wish we could have made it but it gives me all the feels to see how much fun you all had.
See you at the 25th

Go Karting was a blast great battles with the IH crew .
Great to be involved in the IH garden installing the wires to hold the denim and fitted 80 hooks to support the light cables that truly looked incredible when the lights came on .

21st
You won't catch me complaining!
Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to add my thanks for such a great weekend. I was wondering if I really was as mad as all my friends and family thought I was on the 2 hour dive to meet up with a load of relative strangers for a whole weekend, but the Crew and every one of the IH extended family made me feel super welcome. In an even longer version of this post (as it is, I've been slowly adding to this draft all day and I'd better get on with it before the moment is lost…) I'd namecheck and thank everyone who made my weekend so special individually, but the time it would take to draft would make it waaaay out of date by the time I was done. Everyone I met was awesome, but if you will forgive me, a few special mentions are in order:
@Giles & @Madame Buttonfly thank you for building such an awesome company and way of doing business. You truly make everyone that brushes up against the brand walk away with a special experience. Paula, I hope you eventually enjoy the new boat - thanks for showing me the brochure, and for all the hugs. Giles, I'll try to make sure everything else I post on the jokes board meets the same standard as 'The Best Local Pub' but forgive me if I fall short.
@Alex thank you for your hospitality and carrying the torch. Your team put on an amazing bash, anticipated everything we could need, and exceeded all my expectations. It must have taken a lot of hard work to pull off, let alone pull off in such a way that made it look so easy, and I'm grateful to you and the whole Crew for that. Thank you for sorting the Utilitees; my brother is looking forward to his birthday present, and got major FOMO and has committed to joining me at the next one! I'll get him into IH yet!
@JoshC thank you for the hemming, repair, and being so accommodating with putting those patches on my bibs. You really went above and beyond mate, sorry for putting you out and I hope the DEYA beer made up for it in a small way!
@AdamJ Thank you for introducing me to drunk AJ from the off! If you have any recommendations for PS5 games, let me know. Check out God of War (2018), it's cracking.
@Steve and @Ross and @AdamC - thank you for helping me with my shopping so patiently. Wearing the waffle henley now and I'm comfy as hell!
@Graham thanks for staying late and manning the last table standing on the Saturday so that we could keep going so late. I hope you caught up on your ZZZs.
@Chesson we didn't talk about it, but thanks for modelling where my indigo kersey will go after lots more wear!
@ Adam-from-GAH (who I don't think has made an account yet) thank you for your company on the Friday at 'spoons, and for the generous gift. "The first hit is free" indeed! If you see this, join the forum and keep in touch man.
@Matt and Katie, thanks for the laughs and the epic tale of The Vest That Nearly Wasn't Matt's Vest. Glad you got your cut in the end, but like I say I think Katie should wear it as it looks better on her. (… and she should join the forum... and let us know what she eventually does with Giles' tiny silver dick.)
@Kasi I got the distinct impression that you go hard on everything you do, don't ever change Mo!
@Signal11 Thanks for introducing us all to your wonderful little dog (and making me miss mine). I hope Mrs Signal11 enjoys the slubbies as much as I do!
@seashift great to see you joined the forum, now I don't need to call you out on it. Thanks for the company during breakfast and being so identifiable on the High St. Not sure it counts as IH spotted in the wild…
@weftyarn thanks for the great snap of me and @Jeansman in our bibs. You rock the jacket, and it's one of a kind now…
@Jeansman if only they made 3 piece suits out of denim… thanks for the excellent company and I hope I didn't bore the jeans off you with the shop talk.
@endo thanks for the patch and the formal induction to the Brotherhood and the tattoo talk. FCK NZS!
@Nkwkfld thanks for introducing me to Chicken, he is a wonderful little guy. You look better in IH than you do in lycra, but doesn't everyone?
@scooter thanks for being in need of a pint at just the right moment for an excuse to have a second (in my case) that I really did not need… and for your infectious, deep giggle.
Right... that's about all I can think of to say for now, this post is getting ridiculous, I am in danger of embarrassing myself, and the dog needs a walk. I'll sign off by adding that you're all slightly mad, but that I love you all for it. The weekend will live long in the memory thanks to each and every one of you (even if not mentioned above), and I hope I've managed to express just a modicum of the gratefulness I truly feel to each and everyone who made the weekend what it was.

This has been an amazing thread to follow, and I’m just gutted that I couldn’t make it despite being only a couple of hours drive away. There were a couple of family birthdays this weekend, and it would’ve raised eyebrows had I skipped those in favour of the IH bash.
I sincerely hope there is another party in the works sometime so I can meet some of you guys in person. Congrats to the IH team, you look like you really know how to pull off an awesome party.

I had the same feeling before my first visit in 2017. And I’m sure we are not the only ones.
To everybody who reads this, and is in the same position: Don’t listen to others, and just take the dive

I missed you @Chris? ???
