The “Filthy” Few

June 21st was the first wear. And I have been wearing them pretty much every day. Even when I wear my overalls or slubbies, I come back home or to the hotel and change into these and then (attempt to) sleep in them. I have insomnia and tinnitus so there's lots of tossing and turning. I also obsessively stroke my hands on my thighs… It's super weird but I am completely addicted to how the hand of this denim feels.
Edit: I guess I did hand wash these right before I machine washed them. I forgot about that. I had to go back through my post history because I couldn't remember.
They were machine washed once and I ran them through the dryer about 20 minutes until they were slightly damp then I starched and ironed the heck out of them to get them crispy again. I just washed them with a Tide pod. The starch really helps to make them feel new after a wash.
The other thing I forgot to write about was sometimes I use my phone, and in bright sun it makes the colors really pop. Like the ones above I just walked outside and snapped those pics.
The other pics were more subdued early morning light and with a DSLR camera so the color appears more natural. Like below.

Was debating which thread to put this picture in, but here seemed appropriate. Thanks for spreading all the bib love @Filthy wouldn't have picked these up if it weren't for you, and they are by far my favorite bit of work wear now…

Very excited to be a party of the “Filthy Few”
Mike was my inspiration for the 805 and the 822.
Without his input I never would have purchased either and both are quite easily my favorite two pieces of denim.Also, mike was a huge part in getting my late father into IH. Many of the IH that he left behind once lived in mikes closet.

I still feel so bummed about the passing of your Father Brock… I'm glad he got to enjoy a few of my things though. He wore em a lot better than me, for sure.
