bro, my post glitched out and got lost! attempted redo:
I washed cold but they still snugged up quite a bit. Wore them for a couple hours last night and they stretched back out a bit. Will require some more work. Creases seem to be resetting easily in their original locations. These are definitely the most contrasty fades I've had after 100 wears. My SBG hits 100 wears today too! So I'll be doing the same treatment as a first wash on those soon and posting a comparison. The blacks wont be as contrasty for sure, but I'm psyched to see how they turn out!

I hope these come back at some point. I only have like 25-30 wears and a couple of washes, but they just brighten up and soften so nicely. I got a little worried because with a cold wash hang dry they really tightened up, but within an hour of wearing they had really opened up. Awesome denim.

Crazy lighting coming thru our yellow curtains. Love this denim. I’m washing these every 10 wears or so now to get them to lighten up overall. A bit slow since they’re my unofficial tertiary pair lately. Whatever, I just love them every time I throw them on.

While washing my 888 XHSib, I decided to also throw these in the washer. These have only been soaked once and washed once. Both pairs will be going to IH for some much needed repairs, then put into storage while I break in my 888 SBG.

@Oaktavia they definitely lightened up a lot more than I anticipated. This is my first time ever washing any jeans in the washer, so I was pleasantly surprised.
@WhiskeySandwich you’re far too kind! Lots of awesome pieces in the Hall of Fades. Not sure I’d make the cut. I’m considering joining the next II competition, just for shits and giggles.
