Anyone size up in these for the body length? I think a medium would be my guy based on other specs, but I'm around 5'10" and worry it's going to be ultra-cropped.
-
They do, but I don’t have a jacket at that length to compare to so I’m overthinking it a bit. My shortest jacket is around 24.5” and that hits a little below belt.
-
@Oaktavia jacket is popping off so nice in that sun man!
-
@dinobarnesberlin I was surprised when I started taking photos. Couldn't see the fades as well indoors.
-
Size 40 that look better but doesn't feel as comfortable or size 42, that I can button whiteout feeling that stretch over the shoulders? Will it shrink at all when washed? Or maybe it will stretch out a bit so size 40 will fit better after a few weeks? It's also hard to see any difference in these dark photos

@Fades-for-future it's starting to pop!
-
@Oaktavia yeah man, looks amazing. Exctied too see it with another 50 wears

I will be wearing it hard until the new T2 and T1 19oz jackets come out.
-
@Oaktavia There starting to look great! Would you say its quite a quick fader?
-
@jiminstitches everything is a quick fader when @Oaktavia gets to work
-
@jiminstitches haha yes I would say relatively fast fading yes.

X post from the Lefty sub
Day 89 with the slubby...deciding on waiting to wash at
100 wears or try to go to 120 or more. It's definitely not clean at the moment but not stanky either.Edit: after a close inspection this morning, I have determined this jacket needs a wash. Looking at it in the sunlight outdoors really shows the filth. Preparing for washing now. Here are before photos at day 90:

I soaked the jacket in a utility sink and used a horsehair brush to scrub the super dirty areas like the cuffs and sleeves. From there, I let it soak in hot steamy water to help loosen up the filth. I usually do not do this, but there was a lot of brown crud on the jacket and I wanted to be sure it was gone before the machine took over. The water was super dark brown and indigo, darker than I have ever seen before when soaking so it definitely made a difference.
From the machine wash on "sanitize" which is the hottest setting, I opted for no spin and drip dried it outside. Checking it out this morning, I was surprised it was mostly dried. The jacket lost a lot of dirt, as I was expecting, an the fades are showing much more than before. I will take photos this week to show the before and after shots. Pretty happy I waited this long (90 wears) to wash it.
