IHJ-507-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Type II Jacket - Indigo
-
@DeeDee85 my 507 is an XXXL which fits more like an XXL. I am not sure if mine is from the latest batch though (eBay). And to add to what G said, the chest pockets are great to have compared to T3 models. I use them a lot, dig their size, shape and placement are what originally attracted me to T2.

@Oaktavia thanks for all the info, I’ll let you know how I get on. My first IH piece was the 555 slub jeans and I loved how they were progressing but unfortunately sized them wrong and they ended up too big. Really want something else in the same denim and it just seems to look right on this type 2.

Stunning

@Peterldavey thanks, it's been fun fading this slubby jacket. One of those faders that is stubborn at first, but the snowballs quickly.
-
@Oaktavia it's the way different panels/pockets alternate between horizontal and vertical that make this piece so special to me, looks so hypnotic when the slub becomes more prominent with fading.
If any jacket was ever gonna make sacrificing the comfort and familiarity of hand warmer pockets worthwhile, it'd been this one.
-
@Oaktavia I know what you mean I have some jeans in the same fabric
-
@T4920 it is pretty neat how the shoulders/chest and pockets flow horizontal and the belly is vertical, while the slubs on the sleeves are diagonal. I meant to include this one too to better show that yesterday. This photo is clearer, I think a few photos from my previous post were accidentally take on "portrait mode" which auto blurs parts.
Overall it does look darker in person, you'll see in September:
As far as the hand warmer pockets go, I really do forget about them after wearing this one without them for a while. But when I put on my Lefty, I am reminded how comfortable they are.

Does this one have inner pockets?

@Oaktavia I’ve just caught up on some of the pictures in this thread. Those shots from April with the blossom are some of the best I’ve seen. A perfect blend of denim and nature. 🩷

@Mister_Brue thanks buddy, the cherry tree in our backyard blooms beautifully in the springtime.
