Cheers Guys
Funny that the judges went for jeans with visible signs of wear and tear instead of fades. Mad got picked 4th with the public vote but never made it to the top 10 . That’s what I was missing crotch blowouts , and visible repairs my small holes here and there didn’t cut it ..
Come to think of it I stopped wearing them to work because they were getting battered.. -
@Jcaz6996 I think the contests and competitions definitely have a place in this niche of the community, but I wear my jeans for me and they represent who I am. Overall they tell my story of adventures, travels, successes, and failures.
I don’t want them to look like anyone else’s nor care if they look better than someone’s else’s. Mine are a representation of the life I live and my enjoyment comes from that.

When does this comp registration (for Y4) usually begin?
-
@Jcaz6996 This is sort of the point I was making earlier in this thread--totally agree man, just a bit of fun for those that want.
-
Thanks @Jcaz6996! I was reading through their rules PDF and for the Re(pair), they have registration starting October 1st so I figured it would be close to the last quarter of '23. Is anyone here planning on entering Indigo and/or Rally?
-
Haven’t made my mind up on Y4 as yet .. @Cents-or-Non-Cents Redline Rally is approaching 6 month mark and finishes in January 2024 so i would think it would have a 6 month break and Y3 start around July 24 .
