Chris sent us swatches of Maryam horse leathers. I like the purple, so asked Chris if he would make me a pair of Mr Lou's out of it….

I was thinking it must be in relation to the anniversary party.  Purple boots and the purple uhf with acorn collab. coming out in time for the party.

Just a random coincidence…but still cool nonetheless.

Haha yes! I totally agree. Once I passed 40 I felt the big relief of just being like "ok this is what I wear — it's what I like, and I'm committing to it," vs continuing to pay attention to trends etc. I'll totally admit that I still have vestiges of "what will people think?" that have kinda dogged me my whole life, but they're a lot less.

It's good to kick those concepts to the curb. Maybe while wearing some purple Lous.

The purple is not something I would buy or wear (for now) but I must say they look awesome and Wesco has once again delivered on the execution.

Can I ask if these are hand lasted vs steam lasted?
