Porcupine Tree - Up the Downstair 1993
The oldest Porcupine recording in my hands.
This is the remastered version from 2008…
… real drums added!Like it a lot.
But it is only the deep end of their remarkable back catalogue. -
@Mizmazzle great call I need to throw this on when I get back to my turntable
-
@Mizmazzle These are way more exciting than the Barbara Streisand, Peanuts, and Bing Crosby albums that we have
-
@seawolf oh, we have the Peanuts and Bing Crosby albums too. Haha. Think we added those a few years back. The Peanuts one might be my overall favorite Christmas album!!
Edit: actually, Peanuts may be tied with the Ventures Christmas album. You should check that one out if you haven’t. So damn good!

Picked up this guy today.
Great song and I love the B side, but then again pretty much every song on Odessy and Oracle is stellar

Una Quena A Traves De Los AndesGreat Christmas Records mentioned over the last days.
When I was a child, a lot of South American folk groups showed up in December and went busking the city centers.
