Me, too! I think they deserved to advance overall as Croatia was pretty unimpressive yesterday. Maybe Argentina was just that weak in the group stage.

The game was terrible IMO for the vast majority of it.  First four minutes started with a bang,  Extra time penalty and the PK shootout made it somewhat worth it but other than that the game itself was one of the more boring matches of the tournament.  Croatia looked horrible.

High drama in Rostow… I admit at 2 - 0 I was certain it would be "au revoir, la Belgique". But what a comeback. Very sorry for the brave Japanese, who played with an iron heart.
The winner of Brazil v. Belgium will be a title candidate for sure.

We watched the Belgium v Japan game with Haraki, Tom and Kenta - we were definitely the loudest table in the pub!

It was a great game, kudos to Belgium for their amazing comeback, our dear Japanese friends were a little sad but very magnanimous in defeat.
