One of the people I was really looking forward to meeting irl at the recent IH party was the beardy dank magus himself @Oaktavia.

It was an absolute pleasure to talk to him and Amanda, and on the last day I got to ask him a personal favour. I have recently moved to a new apartment and after the ups and downs of the last few years own very little art of my own. The idea of having something @Oaktavia had painted had been with me for a while, so I was very happy to feel comfortable enough to bring it up.

@oaktavia got in touch a few days after the party and we worked things out in short time. So I am now the proud owner of two original Orrence’s, and that makes me so fucking happy. Updates to come when they are hung.

I was looking so forward to meeting you at the party, as we have much in common and the conversations happened naturally already. Believe it or not folks, Reuben is even more charming and charismatic in person. Honored to have such a humbling endorsement from someone I respect so much in this denim game.
