Denime

Thanks guys! I really had luck with these. They are a deadstock pair from 5 years ago. A size 36 would have been better in the long run with lots of washes. But as I didn't find that size (and the 34 were advertized bigger than they really are) I have to live with what I got and will never show them the inside of my washing machine Only gentle hand washes

very nice

Those are really deadstock and old (in terms of Japanese repro jeans)

obscure little Japanese shops or with luck from Yahoo Auction

Pre-soak fit pics

That is an excellent pre-soak fit. Those are going to shrink down really well, I think.
-
Thx Chris! I really hope they do. Still haven't decided when to soak them though
-
Nice denim BF!
How does the sizing compare with IH raw denim? Have spotted a pair in my true size but not much info out in the ether on how the denim behaves.
-
Well they shrink from tag size. And they really shrink. I soaked them in quite cold water and they already lost 2". This is some "proper" unsanforized/loomstate denim so expect some major shrinkage
They do stretch though -
Oh and on that note..the post-soak pics
-
Score!

Thanks for that.
Jeans look niiiice!

Thx folks!
Here are some assorted detail pics when they were still raw

and one more…
The search for my holy grail has finally found its end. 5 years after the Denime contest I found a pair of 66XX in size 36 in BNWT condition. As the Denime 66XX was my first real pair of Japanese jeans from a Japanese brand, it feels like coming home!
