I have not switched, still have a few of pairs, in suede and canvas (for wading when in shorts)…..
But, I really rate my Bestard wading boots - I mean REALLY rate, so I thought I would try out some of their approach shoes.
The wading boots are so comfortable, supportive and grippy, I can use them as hikers on the way to remote fishing locations.....And for the first time ever, I have a pair of waders that have a gravel guard that actually works

(actually part of the reason I buy them )
And most of my mates who wade, have migrated to Bestards - probably in the vain hope that I will shut the fuck up about how fucking amazing they are….....
I have had this pair for over a year, and they look almost like new. I can get through a pair of "other well-known brands" in less than 12 months of hard use....
They're actually sold as "Search and Rescue" boots, not wading boots.
I have upgraded my with the addition of tungsten wading studs to help me on slimy rocks....

Not trying to create any FUD about a favorite brand… But I am glad I finally got these awful fucking liners out of my Zerrows Sandals. They came unglued almost immediately and it made them so uncomfortable. But I've been thoroughly beating the shit out of them doing some remodeling and the finally came all the way unglued. Well, the one did and the other I ripped the fuck out with a pair of pliers. They are nice and comfy now. If you go and get a pair of request no liners. IDK why they are even in there. If I had to do it all over I'd ask for a sewn in leather liner the same size as the entire toe cap...
The white stuff is gypsum from drywall.

Bummer beginning to the weekend. Son broke his kneecap playing football. Wife was with him last night. Tonight I'm on duty. Usually wear boots but glad I went for comfort tonight. Moonstar(shoes like pottery) and 555ib
