IHSH-361-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Superblack (Fades To Grey)

Finally got mine today after the New DPD driver tried to deliver it to the wrong address 2 days on the bounce so opted to collect it from a pick up point….
The wait was well worth it , holy crap what a shirt… this thing is Knarly absolutely love it and fits like a
Little question: should I hot soak this bad boy NOT to remove shrinkage as there’s none, but to try and remove the razor sharp crease lines in the sleeves, or do you think with wear they will disappear as it begins to break in??

Dude I know exactly what you're talking about. My lines and creases were not good looking and super wide. I wetted the comb area and folded my arms enough times until nice, thinner and crisper folds conformed to my arms. This is a must do in my opinion and was already going to comment here about that. You can see my folds set in one of the photos.
To echo James here, this shirt is fucking amazing. Feels heavier than the 292 CPO. Like dense and thicc af. I love it and will be ignoring my other shirts this summer from now on while wearing the 361 as much as possible. Fuck yeah on this shirt dudes.

Knarly is the exact correct term for this shirt!
I was debating a disk as well but am just going to wear it and see what happens. -
Looking like the Boss!! Awesome fit and such a cool timeless look
-
Thank you for the kind words
-
@Smiladon Nice! I was about to do the same, but decided to wait to see the measurements on the CPO before ordering.

@Heavy_blue it's right. I suspect the mill that makes this denim has not raised prices recently, so we are benefiting from that. Get them whilst you can at this price, before they realise
it's really cool to see that whilst IH is expensive, it is priced fairly, and that you're passing on your savings to your customers

Loving the way the comb creases are set. I'm so happy my wife and I moved into a house with air conditioning. It makes wearing this shirt around the house totally comfortable at 74F, even when the high is 91 today outside. I was going to hold off wearing it until the fall but nah, not anymore. I'm all about this shirt.

For anyone that has bought this shirt, how would you rate the breathability of it? I'm guessing it's on the more substantial side. Just wondering if it would be a good layering piece or better as a light jacket replacement

Would work as a jacket without a doubt

@Kasi Thanks man, might opt for the 12oz JC instead since I like to be able to wear my IH tops under a leather jacket or something
-
@Link-Of-Time - don’t get the sense that it will breathe too much. As @Oaktavia said, it seems even more substantial that the 18oz 292 - I have the 293 and reckon this seems more substantial
-
@Link-Of-Time can’t comment on this shirt, but JC is a great option for layering if you don’t mind slower progress on the fades.
